FM27 System Requirements
Football Manager 27 lists 20 GB of available space on Windows and Mac. The download size and final installed footprint are not specified by these sources. The minimum is 6 GB RAM and the recommended amount is 12 GB; processor and graphics requirements differ between desktop and laptop hardware.
Windows desktop and laptop requirements
| Component | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| Operating system | Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, with all updates | Windows 11, 64-bit, with all updates |

The minimum CPU must support SSE4.2 and SSSE3; the minimum graphics hardware must support Shader Model 5.0. A similarly named desktop and mobile GPU should not be treated as interchangeable. These specifications describe hardware requirements, not a guaranteed frame rate or a maximum database size.
Mac requirements
| Component | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| Operating system | macOS 13, 14, 15 or 26, with all updates | macOS 14, 15 or 26, with all updates |
| Processor | Apple M1 / Intel Core M | Apple M1 |
| Memory | 6 GB RAM | 12 GB RAM |
| Desktop graphics | Apple M1 / NVIDIA GT 750M / Intel HD Graphics 5000 / AMD FirePro D300 | Apple M1 |
| Laptop graphics | Apple M1 / NVIDIA GT 750M / Intel HD Graphics 5000 | Apple M1 |
| Available storage | 20 GB | 20 GB |
The supported macOS versions are listed explicitly above. macOS 11 and 12 are not in the FM27 minimum list. An Intel processor meeting the CPU line is not enough by itself: compare the Mac’s graphics hardware and supported OS as well.
How to compare your laptop
Find the exact CPU, RAM, graphics model and operating system in your device’s system information, then compare each item with the laptop rows and the shared memory, graphics-feature and storage requirements. Use the recommended column as the published higher hardware target. Meeting the minimum does not establish how quickly a large save will process.
Steam Deck: currently unrated
Single source: Steam’s public compatibility API for app 4530370 returned resolved_category 0 with no resolved compatibility items on 30 October 2026. That means there is no published Deck rating in this report. It is not evidence that FM27 is verified, playable or unsupported. No verified Deck frame-rate measurements are available in the sources cited here.
Can my laptop run FM27?
Compare its exact CPU and GPU with the laptop rows: minimum i3-330M or A6-5200, GTX 960M / R9 M375 / Intel HD 530, 6 GB RAM and 1 GiB VRAM, plus the OS and graphics-feature requirements. The published recommended RAM is 12 GB.
Does Steam Deck run FM27?
Steam’s public compatibility API had no rating on 30 October 2026. This is a single-source status check, not a performance test or a claim that the game cannot run.
How big is the install?
Steam and FM Scout list 20 GB available space. They do not specify the download size or final installed footprint.
