2026/27 Season Update
A 2026/27 season update is a database, sometimes with kits and logos, that makes Football Manager 2024 or Football Manager 26 look like the current real-world season. FM Scout hosts an FM24 2026/27 update of that kind. Searches for 'fm24 26/27 database' and 'fm24 fm27 database' land here by accident, because the year 27 appears in the season name.
It is not Football Manager 27. The new game is a separate release on 10 November 2026, with its own price, its own interface dive, and its own preview. Installing a season file into FM24 does not give you Shuffle Draft, the new licences as FM27 implements them, or the new match engine.
Kits are the other mix-up. People searching for 2026/27 shirts often want this kind of pack for the game they own. The FM27 kit index was empty on 30 October. A shirt pack for FM24 is allowed to say 26/27. It is not allowed, on this site, to be titled as if it were the new game.
If you want the new game, use the download page and the official stores. If you want your FM24 save to know this season's squads, use the author's FM24 update and read that page's version number. Do not point an FM24 database file at an FM27 install.
Is the 26/27 update the same as FM27?
No. It patches an older game's data.
Where is the FM24 file?
FM Scout's season update article is the index I am pointing at, not a file hosted here.
Will it work inside FM27?
It is built for the older game. Do not assume the file loads.
